Here’s a funny advert I’ve just seen online – it’s originally from a games distributor in the Netherlands, but the look on somebody’s face on it is hilarious.
Yes, the music in it is Numa Numa (Dragostea din tei) which rose to internet fame with Gary Brolsma in this famous video
A few years ago, I went to Japan (flying Lufthansa, booked via Expedia) and a couple of days I went into the McDonalds there and it was quite different. First of all: you put your money in a tray and the cashier picked it up from the tray, secondly they allowed smoking inside and thirdly they had recycling bins for paper, plastic cups and ‘undrunk drinks/ice’ (along with an “other”).
However, I didn’t see any of the following adverts whilst I was there – which was a shame… If only McD’s ran these ads here…

Looking at this, this promo was for one of Microsoft’s Tech Ed events in 2007: how it’s failed to come to my attention to now is unknown. Featuring Christopher “Judge DoomDr. Emmett Brown” Lloyd, a certain Delorean, flux capacitor and Acme Inc it’s a good fun 10 minutes…
Now only if Microsoft used something like this for their adverts instead of the failed Seinfield and the “not at all funny, not at all appealing to purchasing managers (who would have probably watched and enjoyed BTTF)” I’m a PC adverts:
