Snippet: Why Not Lighter Than Air Packing?

*snippet* Why isn’t there somewhere that sells packaging materials that are filled with a “lighter than air” gas (such as helium)? I’ve found that I weigh something I’m going to send, package it up and then find out I’ve to pay extra for the postage. But if the packaging material was full of helium then the weight of the packaging materials might get cancelled out: saving me forking out extra on the postage….

I found this page as a result of searching (google) for “helium packaging” because I am suffering with tha=e same issue.
Yesterday I took a package to the post office having previously weighed it on my scales at home.
I am now on the third attempt to re-pack (removing some of the protective plastic foam) simply to reduce the weight by 25 grammes out of a total of 3025 grammes.
The difference in price for the package to be sent to the USA from the UK (3000g or less) or 3025 grammes is £4.00!!!

I was wondering about the availability of helium filled mini-sacks or perhaps helium filled bubble-wrap?
