Guess That Movie: II: Ghostbusters

[Guess That Movie Part II]It seems the Guess That Movie I posted just 2 hours ago was too easy – it was guessed by the first person (Toby correctly guessed it was 2001 – A Space Odyssey [Order from Amazon.co.uk] ) . Drat and double drat – it was meant to last at least 2 days 🙁 Oh well, I don’t suppose I can help it if I have knowledgeable and clever people viewing my blog can I? 🙂

So, in exchange here’s a new image which should be slightly harder to guess correctly….

Same rules apply: Look at the image with the post (no, you can’t enlarge it). Which movie or TV series was that image taken from? (hint: It’s from the 1980’s!) What do you win if you are the first to get it right? A virtual “pat on the back” and well done from me. When’s the closing date? Probably the same time next week. How do you enter? Leave me a comment with this post (do the same if you have any questions). Good luck!
A: Ghostbusters. Correctly guessed by Kymberlie R. McGuire.

Great…I demonstrate that I am a wunderkind and you blame it on the question being easy. Sigh

  2. Nope – the movie the screen shot came from was made AFTER Raiders of the Lost Ark…

  3. No, but you are getting warmer. The movie the screen shot came from was made AFTER Poltergeist. So, you are looking for a film made after sometime in 1982….

I’ll give away a cryptic clue now – and I warn you it IS cryptic: This movie has a connection that “Ace Ventura” and the “The Mask” has but which “The Cable Guy” hasn’t.

Umm….let’s see…..”Raiders of the Lost Ark?”

Then……Poltergeist? These were the only two that come to mind with this picture. 😉

  6. Congratulations Kymberlie, it was Ghostbusters! To be exact, it was the ghost from the library near the start of the film.

  7. Oh – I may as well explain the “cryptic clue”. “Ace Ventura” and “The Mask” were both made into Cartoons – so was “Ghostbusters”: “The Cable Guy” wasn’t…

I was hoping it would lead people the wrong way think it had a connection with Jim Carrey but obviously I failed.
