Watchmen Clip and Montage on iTunes Review

Well, Katy and I were looking forward to watching the Watchmen, but after downloading and watching iTunes Exclusive Clip – Comic-Con 2008 Preview, I’m no no longer sure if I want to bother.

I’ve heard Watchmen are good, have a strong history, but when trailers offer no explanation for the scenario, give very little detail of whats going on (I guess I’m saying, it relies on you being familar with the original source: i.e. the comic books) and is generally do motivation, then I guess the studio (Paramount in this case) are intentionally sabatoaging it. Please tell me this isn’t really the case…

I’ve just watched the Film Montage whilst typing, and still 🙁

Personal: You know you are getting old…

  • When Policeman start looking younger
  • You don’t remember being absentminded.
  • You have more patience; but actually, it’s just that you don’t care any more.
  • Your memory is shorter and your complaining is longer.
  • You look forward to a dull evening.
  • You quit trying to hold your stomach in, no matter who walks into the room.
  • Your idea of a night out is sitting on the patio.
  • You begin every other sentence with, “Nowadays…”
  • A ‘late night’ now ends at 11 pm.
  • When the actor playing Doctor Who is younger than you

*sigh*

Film and TV: No more Narnia movies and no more Project Runway

In a move designed to upset my my other half on Christmas Eve (mhahaha – it’s my evil deed for the week >-) ), I’m passing on the news that it looks very unlikely that Disney will be making any more Narnia movies (source Defamer.com who cite HollywoodReport.com as a source: but also see NationalPost, CinemaBlend, TotalFilm and E!Online – although they all say pretty much the same thing) and Jezebel is reporting that the new series (6) of Project Runway (which Katy watches a lot) is in legal problems which may stop its production.

Merry Christmas! 😀
