Game: Hold The Button

[Push Button]Continuing the button theme from yesterday, here a little basic Flash game you can play. It’s called simply “Hold The Button“, and you aren’t going to be able to guess what you have to do.

Ok – I’ll tell you: You’ve just got to Hold The Button (don’t faint – it wasn’t that difficult to guess)!. Yep, how long can you keep your finger on the mouse pressing a poor defenceless little button? I managed 2hr 45mins before I needed the computer for something else – and even than I only “held the button longer than 50.2% of visitors”. No, I didn’t rest anything of the mouse to cheat like that: I can certainly say that the only thing to touch the mouse or my keyboard during that time was myself. But, then again, I did have better things to do with my time then just sit there pressing a button… I’ll leave you to guess how I managed it 🙂

Game: Stan Skates

[Stan Skates]I came across this little Flash game Stan Skates via User Friendly a few days ago and I’ve onyl got round to blogging about it now. Basically you control a little skateboarder (I’m guessing his name is Stan) and using the space bar, you’ve got to jump cones, tires, fire hydrants and pillar boxes. The first level is really easy, but the pillar boxes on the second level involve d–n good timing. And when you are tired, it ain’t easy…

MiniClip have a few other good games as well.

Games: Pong and Pong and Pong

[Pong Screenshot]Wow! There seems to be quite a few sites about Pong out there! There’s the previously mentioned game of Radial Pong, this fancy Flash movie about Pong not just being a game (and how those bats are really controlled), a quite infuriating and difficult Shockwave game of 3D Pong (I managed a final “high” score of 121), a 3 slightly less high-tech looking versions are also available and there is even a nice text based version available (“The enemy, the Left Paddle, has managed to reflect your shot and send it back to you. It looks like it’s going to go below your paddle”).

Pong your heart out!

Game: Insaniquarium

[Insaniquarium screenshot]
*sigh* It’s been ages since I’ve played the Java Insaniquarium Fishtank game. Basically, in the game (written by those folks at “Flying Bear Entertainment”) you’ve just got to feed your fishes and get them to grow up. Once they reach a certain size, they start dropping money which you can use to buy more food, buy more guppies or buy egg-shells (once you’ve got 3 pieces of egg-shell you move onto the next level). Sounds simple – but once you get onto the harder levels and you’ve got around 15 guppies, 5 carnivores, various star catchers and then 2 damn aliens come along – things begin to get slightly tricky…

Game: Peeball

[A Peeball]Peeball is something you can buy (for £1, 30p goes to the Prostate Cancer charity), put in the urinals (sorry girls, it’s a “man thing” only!) and see how quickly you can dissolve it. They’ve also got a little flash game where you control the Peeball in a urinal and you’ve got to try and make it “jump” objects (such as chewing gum etc) that come down the urinal. Of course, you control it via urinating (no, you don’t actually “see” it) – but you’ve got to keep your “reserves” topped up by drinking beer. I’ve only managed to score 1,240 so far…
